Product Area Load & Haul’s Turku plant is a global technology and manufacturing center for loading & hauling equipment for mining and construction industries. The Powertrain, Hydraulics and L&H application team within R&D and Product Development organization is now looking for proactive Engineer, Hydraulics. The position is permanent and based in Turku, Finland.

Key performance areas

You will work for the loaders’ and dump trucks’ hydraulic systems. As Engineer, Hydraulics you will participate in the new product and the current product projects. Together with the other teams you will be responsible for the design and analysis of the necessary measurements. You will work in close cooperation with our component suppliers. If the projects require, you are willing to travel and visit the underground mines.

In addition you will support the test run and our production regarding hydraulics related matters. You will independently perform measurements and adjustments and give guidance to the others concerning these areas of expertise.

Your profile

You have a suitable technical education (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) and previous experience in hydraulic mobile machinery. You use fluently hydraulic schematic design software, e.g. Automation Studio or E3. You have experience from a 3D modeling software, e.g. NX. Good understanding of the mechanics and control systems, as well as hydraulic simulation, is regarded as a merit. You are full of ideas and open-minded towards new energy-efficient solutions. Your English skills are fluent, both verbal and written.
