We are now looking for an Inside Sales Person for Kanthal Products and Services to join the UK sales team in Stoke-On-Trent.
Job summary
The Inside Sales Person has responsibility for maintaining, growing and developing local business, primarily through close customer contact within the allocated area of responsibility. The main requirement is to achieve the sales, profitability and capital efficiency targets, established in agreement with the Market Manager and Key Account Manager, working in line with current strategy and guidelines. You will manage the Mid and Transactional customers, as well as the running transactions and contacts with Key customers. You will also provide a high level of customer service and work closely with other members of the sales team as required. You will create offers and orders and provide these to the customer promptly and efficiently. You will work according to the Company strategy and guidelines, as instructed by the Market Manager, demonstrating a willingness to change and adopt new working practices. You will pro-actively turn offers into orders by following up offers and pro-actively contact prioritized customers and segments with clear order focus. You will ensure that customer service levels are maintained; enquiries, orders and complaints are handled efficiently and followed up.
Your profile

You will have a good all round education with a minimum of GCSE grades A-C, or equivalent, in English language and mathematics. A further technical qualification or degree would be advantageous. Additional experience of working within sales for technical products or general technical appreciation would also be advantageous. Your communication skills in English must be excellent, both written and verbal. Your personal skills/ attitude are key in this role. You need to able to demonstrate your pro activeness, motivation, (time) management skills and flexibility. You are a creative team player that shows commitment and initiative.
