We are now looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to take the lead in ensuring that the Coventry Site and all of its equipment and tools are maintained to the highest standard.
Job summary
As Maintenance Technician you will be key to the improvement of the overall plant and machinery at the Coventry site. You will respond to maintenance requests generated through the computerised system, Movex, in a professional and expedient manner; You will take the lead in ensuring preventative measures are taken to ensure the smooth running of the site and ensure schedules are adhered to; You will drive the installation and relocation of new and existing machinery, equipment and systems whilst ensuring the site continues to flourish and high standards are maintained; You will be proactive in fault finding and thrive on finding solutions and improvements to problems; You will deliver the highest quality repairs on all equipment requiring attention and enhance plant and machine reliability overall.
You will work over a 3 shift rotation with potential overtime allocated at weekends.
Your profile
We are looking for a time served maintenance technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills. You will preferably be apprentice trained and be proficient in the use of hand tools and electrical equipment. You will be proactive in your approach to fault finding/improvement finding, be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings and have an understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques. You will possess excellent communication skills as well as strong planning and organisational skills. You will be flexible in your approach to work and be prepared to work outside of normal hours in order to get the job done and attend any training courses required to fulfill the role.
