Sandvik IT Global Shared Services (GSS), with about 850 people located in approximately 40 countries, is a support function with the mission of meeting the IT needs of Sandvik's business globally. This is done in an international environment, with various areas of responsibility, such as IT architecture, management systems, process development, IT security and IT support.
Due to a changing setting for the business, where Big Data, the Internet of Things and On-time Data have entered the scene, Sandvik IT's SAP functions are involved in many exciting projects to meet new demands and expectations from our various business areas. Our ambition is to enable our employees to constantly develop, and we are professionally and personally committed to sharing our knowledge in finding the path to success. We are now looking for four SAP Developers who would like to join our SAP Integration and Test team an be a part of our journey towards the future of IT solutions. The location for these positions are flexible within Sweden.
Job Summary
As an SAP Systems Developer you deliver value to our business by performing systems development in accordance with business partner demands, while ensuring scalability, accessibility and extendibility. You design, create and test program source code and you recommend policies and procedures for delivery. Ensuring security and integrity of systems and data by testing, monitoring and diagnosing applications is part of your daily work, as is providing technical assistance to applications development teams and suggesting the best solution and functionality. Furthermore, you ensure that our work follows Sandvik IT Global Shared Services processes and guidelines and you collaborate and communicate with all parts of our global organization.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s in IT engineering or equivalent, and at least five years’ experience of SAP system development. You have previously worked with SAP ABAP programming and experience in user interface development technologies like Webdynpro, BSP, UI5 and Adobe interactive forms development. Experience from workflow development and design using Business Object and Business Class, and process control using BRF and BRF Plus is a prerequisite. You have strong ABAP-OO (Object Oriented) development skills in ABAP-Objects with expertise in WRICEF development and User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Points, BTE and FQEVENTS. Your skills areas also include interface programming and data conversion using BAPIs, BDC, ALE and Idocs; EDI, RFC, LSMW, connectors and IDOC adapters to communicate with legacy systems; and experience in ABAP query, performance tuning and SQL. As we work in a global environment, you need excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
