CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER -TPA

GRADE: TPGS 6

STATION: Mwanza/Headquarters

Reporting to: Senior Communications Officer

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Contract for Unspecified period

1. First degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or International Relations;

2. Must be Computer literate

3. At least three years experience in a related field in a similar position at a reputable organization.

DUTIES:

1. Performs activities related to Publications and the Media;

2. Prepares TPA publications and promotional materials;

3. Produce TPA publications and distribute them in time;

5. Undertake the preparation, pUblishing and printing of TPA annual reports;

6. Implements schedules of interviews/radio and "TV programmes effectively,

7. Prepares TPA Newsletter and other publications

8. Disseminates all publications, news letters and calendars to those earmarked;

9. Collects and edits marine business oriented news;

Performs any other duties assigned from time to time

REMUNERATION.

Attractive salary within TPA Salary Scales/Grades as indicated against the post will be offered to selected candidates.
