Monitoring and Evaluation & Operations Research Advisor: Project HOPE is recruiting a Monitoring and Evaluation & Operations Research Advisor for a Tuberculosis Prevention Project in Georgia. The project is a four-year, $4.5M USAID-funded project, expected to start in April 2011. The focus of the project will be to provide training and increase awareness of general medical practitioners to recognize the symptoms of TB in order to limit the spread of the disease through earlier detection of TB cases; to provide technical training and monitoring of DOTS clinics across the country; and to physically rehabilitate select TB outpatient clinics nationwide.

The position requires a strong background in international program development, monitoring and evaluation, operations research, and TB and/or infectious disease management. She/he will be responsible for establishing and maintaining systems to measure analyze and report project data at all levels, and to utilize this data in support of project improvements. Additional responsibilities include technical guidance and training to project staff and other implementing partners in related areas. Key qualifications for the position include a Masters or advanced degree in public health or TB medicine and a minimum of 8 years work experience in monitoring and evaluation and social science research. The position will be based in Tbilisi and will report to the Chief of Party.
