Country Director - WWF Laos

With projects and offices in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, WWF Greater Mekong Programme Office is working to conserve 600,000 km2 of mainland Asia's most biologically diverse, economically significant and threatened forests and rivers, which are found in the Mekong Region and home to more than 300 million people in the region.

WWF Greater Mekong Programme Office (WWF GMPO) is seeking to recruit well-qualified and experienced candidates for the following position:

Country Director, WWF Laos (full-time)
The Country Director provides vision, leadership, management, and effective high-level national representation for WWF in Lao PDR and is accountable for the Greater Mekong Strategic Plan delivery in Laos Country Office. He/she is accountable for all activities of the WWF Laos Country Programme related to conservation, fundraising, policy advocacy, finance management, human resources management, and communications activities. This position has legal representation of WWF in Lao PDR and advocates on behalf of WWF Greater Mekong in Lao PDR to build institutional relationships and promoting cooperative programme activities with national partners. He/she manages the program with annual budget from 2 million USD with 40 national staff and 10 international regional staff based in Laos

Salary range: From US$ 53,213 to US$ 69,752 per year (gross)
