Description:
Creative Associates is a dynamic and fast-growing professional services firm that specializes in international development in the areas of education, democratic transitions and stabilization in post-conflict environments. Based in Washington, DC, the firm has a field presence in 20 countries worldwide with a strong and diverse portfolio.

We are seeking an experienced Field Human Resources Manager. The incumbent will provide full human resources support to our field offices.

Primary Responsibilities

  • 1. Recommends personnel policies and procedures for field-based personnel, based on legal frame of host country and company policies
  • 2. Prepares employment agreements and addendums for expatriates, consistent with contract/project specific terms, typically under the auspices of USAID
  • 3. Assists Field Operations with pre-deployment training of all field expatriate employees
  • 4. Serves as the principal contact for field expatriate employees, providing follow up on all employment related issues

Qualification:
  • Minimum 4 yrs. management experience in International Human Resources
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Previous exp in International Development and USAID development projects/programs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to serve a culturally diverse clientele
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally, including to developing countries and countries in conflict
