Applications are invited for the following position, based in the Klerksdorp/Orkney and Carletonville/Fochville areas:

BOX CONTROLLER

Applicants must:

• Have a minimum of Grade 12/Standard 10
• Have a permanent Blasting Certificate
• Be medically fit in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act requirements
• Have at least 1 year’s experience as a General Miner/Stoper/Developer.

Reporting to the Shaft Foreman, the successful candidate will be expected to:

• Perform Box Controller duties on a three-shift rotation basis
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act requirements.

The salary will be in accordance with the AngloGold Ashanti Limited Schedule of Salaries.
