UBS Optimus Foundation
The UBS Optimus Foundation (UBSOF) is a Swiss charitable foundation established by UBS AG in 1999. UBSOF supports innovative projects aimed at advancing the protection, education and health of children in need. UBSOF is embarking on a process to bolster its systems and funding, and is looking for a leader with strong Foundation and business experience to add to its team and drive improved granting performance.
Program Officer Education and Child Protection
Position Objectives Work closely with CEO to build UBS Optimus Foundation into world class grant making organization. The Deputy will be expected to manage all operational issues and help develop and drive a new strategic vision for the organization which will include expansion of UBS Optimus Foundation to new regions, enhanced visibility and alignment and positioning within UBS.
Specific responsibilities will include:
• Development of growth strategy and oversight of all expansion plans• Oversight and coordination of all communication issues (within Family Services and beyond)• Development of client-focuses systems and management of all client-related activities and requests• Key liaison with sales and communications’ teams within Family Services• Management and oversight of all special projects including annual planning, strategic planning, consulting engagements (including upcoming communication’s engagement), and other• Close coordination with CEO on Board meeting preparation • Represent Foundation in partner and client meetings
Requirements
• Post graduate degree or applicable educational credentials• At least 10 years of professional experience• Solid understanding of UBS systems, and key staff • At least 3 years of experience in senior management with UBS• Interest and experience in international development• Strong strategic and analytical skills• Strong project management skills• Fluent in English and German, and an additional language is desirable• Willingness to travel up to 20%• Team player Our Offering UBS can offer you an environment geared towards performance, attractive career opportunities, and an open corporate culture that values and rewards the contribution of every individual.
