Training & Communications Coordinator (TCC) EATG

EATG is now looking for a Training & Communications Coordinator (TCC) to coordinate training projects where EATG is lead or partner organisation and the work on external communication (such as website, newsletters, press releases ...).

Key tasks include:

  • Project proposal writing (fundraising);
  • Project Coordination, Implementation and Evaluation including (but not limited to);
  • Networking & collaboration;
  • Developing an overall internal and external training strategy and (bi)annual workplan;
  • Coordination of the trainers’ pool (including chairing pre-meeting etc);
  • Defining EATG external communication priorities (short and long term) by developing an annual work plan;
  • Supporting the strengthening of EATGs external communication and visibility;
  • Establishing contacts with media, journalists, editors etc for press releases and publishing of articles;
  • Coordinating and creating opportunities for external communication (press releases, open letters, …).

Terms and Conditions:

Applicants should have:

  • relevant experience in a similar position (1-3 years);
  • experience in methodology of trainings;
  • experience in successfully writing funding applications;
  • strong management and IT skills, such as website and listserv management;
  • experience with social media and other online platforms;
  • excellent English skills (both oral and written);
  • the ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel.

Knowledge of Russian is an asset for the position as well as knowledge of - and experience in - HIV/AIDS, public health, human rights, or another related field.

This call is for a full-time position (38h/week) starting as a 1 year contract (3 months probation) with possibility to extend. The contract will start as soon as possible (ideally September 1 2012). The TCC will be employed within the Brussels EATG office. The TCC will receive a gross salary of 2500 EUR/month.
