WWF Fisheries Programme Manager: Seafood & Markets

WWF believes in a future where people and nature thrive. Best known as the world's leading conservation body, we're also committed to safeguarding the natural world through tackling the global threat of climate change. And by helping to change the way we live, we'll ease pressure on natural resources.

You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering key UK priorities for WWF’s Global Smart Fish and Market Transformation Initiatives, working collaboratively across teams, in particular with network offices which either catch or process fish supplied to UK and EU markets. This will include China and Russia for whitefish and Coastal East Africa and the Coral Triangle for tuna.

You’ll need to be experienced in programme management, policy advocacy and corporate engagement and will have specialist knowledge in sustainable fisheries and seafood management, preferably within the international arena.

You’ll be working with key players within the UK seafood industry towards improving the sustainability of the sector, so you’ll have a track record in building successful relationships with a range of partners, stakeholders and donors. These skills will be particularly useful in raising the programme profile and income to support delivery.
