ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGERS

Tetra Tech ARD (www.tetratechard.com) has immediate home office staff openings for two Assistant Project Managers. While exact project portfolios are to be determined, we anticipate one Assistant Project Manager to work with projects in Latin America and one to work with projects in Afghanistan – note this is subject to change.

Assistant Project Managers work with a project management team to support the administration and management of US government funded projects. Key objectives of this position are to ensure project-related information is shared appropriately and to coordinate project administrative details and logistics. This is a full-time position that is based in Tetra Tech ARD's home office in Burlington, Vermont.

Responsibilities:
* Work with project managers to provide day-to-day home office support to projects implemented overseas
* Maintain and update project files and Tetra Tech ARD Information System records
* Assist in mobilizing and supporting consultants
* Contribute to budget monitoring and financial management
* Work with the procurement department to oversee home office project-related procurements

Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
* One-two years of professional experience preferred, experience living or working overseas a plus
* High level proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
* Experience managing budgets in a professional setting preferred
* Must possess effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task
* Strong interpersonal communication skills
* High level of reliability and follow-through
* Very strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
* Must be comfortable working in a fast paced and sometimes intense work environment
* Must be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team player
* Ability to travel and work overseas on a short-term basis, as requested
* Speaking and reading proficiency in at least one foreign language (Arabic, French, Portuguese, Spanish or Russian) desired
* U.S. citizenship or a valid U.S. work permit is mandatory
