Duties & Resp. | | | • Manage Marquee, US-based content & service (C&S) partners on behalf of Samsung.
• Align Samsung divisions and business units in Approach to marquee, C&S partners.
• Support Samsung content-related Services with partnership requirements.
• Help define best-in-class User Experiences on Samsung smart phones/devices.
• Drive content service Innovation and popular device Differentiation via partner collaboration.
• Coordinate partner C&S Integration and communications with Samsung HQ in Suwon, Korea .

| Background /
Experience | | | • 16+ years of experience in C&S business areas such as: search portals, social networks, C&S commerce/storefronts and digital divisions of major movie studios, channels and sports leagues; 5+ years in partnership/account management and business development preferably within one or more of the business areas above.
• Prior experience in the smart-phone and/or connected TV device marketplace.
• Background in management /strategy consulting
• MBA or equivalent; undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science a plus.

Attributes | | | • Polished professional with superior communication/presentation skills at an executive level.
• Demonstrated ability to create trusted relationships with decision makers in leading C&S companies.
• Strong in lead-generation, listening, negotiations and follow through.
• Understands process of closing business deals including securing internal business unit consensus.
• Strong technical savvy/interest in digital content, services and connected smart devices.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time including overseas (e.g. Korea).
