Job vacancy in the European Regional Office - Director of External Relations and Funding
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Duration: open ended
Start Date: September/October 2012.

The European Region, one of the 6 regional organizations, is looking for a dynamic, experienced individual to join the regional team as Director of External Relations and Funding who will be responsible for:
  • Representing Scouting and WOSM to the European Institutions
  • Supporting the profiling of Scouting through and with National Scout Organizations
  • Developing and supporting volunteer support groups
  • Maintaining and developing existing and new relationships and partnerships
  • Managing the European Regional Office (Brussels) and any related staff
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and motivational skills, will be able to work on their own initiative and will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in this important representation role.
Being English/French bilingual is a clear asset.
