The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Regional Office of the World Health Organization (WHO) with its Headquarters in Washington, D.C, U.S.A, is an international public health agency with over 100 years of experience in working to improve the health and living standards of the countries of the Americas. Senior Advisor, Institutional and Organization Development (ID)

The person will be responsible for leading the Pan American Sanitary Bureau (PASB) institutional and organizational development and corporate performance management, and for the monitoring and assessment of results based management processes; formulating institutional guidelines, business processes and related strategies for the development and implementation of management frameworks, the Organization’s corporate management system, organization models, institutional performance monitoring and assessment; and providing Corporate and Entity support in institutional and organizational development aspects.

The successful candidate will have:

• A university degree in health or social sciences.
• A master’s degree in public health, organizational development, healthcare administration, health economics or in a related field. 13 years of combined national and international
• Progressively more responsible experience in major health programs and activities related to institutional and organizational development and change management.
• Very good knowledge of English or Spanish with a working knowledge of the other language.

Salary range: US$ 128,965.24-US$ 119,809.26, net of income taxes. PAHO/WHO’s compensation package includes dependency benefits, pension plan, health insurance scheme, and 30 days annual leave.
