Salary: £35,500 - £41,800 per annum depending on experience

In this pivotal position, you will lead effective risk management and compliance across our grants portfolio, while strengthening the capacity of grant stakeholders in our international offices. This will involve instilling best practice in a team of Grant Compliance Officers, monitoring evolving donor requirements, overseeing contracts from end to end, and ensuring adherence to financial reporting requirements.

In particular, you will apply real expertise in budgeting and co-financing to ensure that funds are utilised to their fullest advantage, demanding an extremely analytical mindset.

Joining us from a sound financial and risk management background, you will bring impressive interpersonal and leadership skills and unimpeachable integrity. Naturally, you should be qualified to degree level in Finance, Accounting or Audit and highly experienced in grant management with government and multilateral donors within an NGO, public or private context. Finally, you will be skilled in operating within a multidisciplinary, politically sensitive environment and ready to apply your initiative to make a difference from your first day.

You will be willing and able to travel internationally up to 25% of the year.
