MANAGING DIRECTOR, PP GLOBAL ~ PLANNED PARENTHOOD FEDERATION OF AMERICA
Planned Parenthood Global (PP Global) at Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is seeking a Managing Director to manage and coordinate fast-moving projects and teams with the highest level view of the strategic direction of PPFA and its global work. The Managing Director will provide strategic support to the VP of Global on all key aspects of Division's business, including representation at the highest levels within PPFA headquarters, its DC policy office, and throughout the Federation with PPFA affiliates. In this newly envisioned role, the Managing Director will oversee the development and implementation of a fast-growing team and will provide leadership in the strategic coordination of PP Global's program expansion plans. The Managing Director will bring a global perspective and a common vision to the program to ensure the competitive strength of its rights-based and client-centered approach in all target regions and countries. As the primary point of coordination for the Division, the Managing Director will oversee a broad set of Division processes including: fundraising strategies, strategic budgeting, cross-regional approaches, affiliate outreach, financial analysis, monitoring and evaluation. As the liaison between the senior leadership team and the VP of Global, the Managing Director will maintain awareness of progress towards goals on specific projects and overarching plans across the PP Global team.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must be an exceptional project manager - able to stay on top of multiple projects without dropping any balls. S/he is a critical thinker who can quickly synthesize big ideas, gather disparate information, and determine the best path forward in both day-to-day and crisis situations. S/he should have impeccable discretion and bring an unflappable approach to a fast-based environment.
