Outreach and recruitment specialist Egypt
Chemonics seeks an outreach and recruitment specialist for an anticipated five-year, USAID-funded project in Egypt to support opportunities for academic degrees, training, and partnerships. The project will also support services to connect individual knowledge and skills to improved organizational capacity and performance. The position will be based in Cairo. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that promotion, outreach, and recruitment activities reach relevant entities and audiences in the Egyptian government, academia, and the private sector
- Develop multifaceted capacity-building approaches capable of addressing diverse sectors, regions, and populations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in institutional development or other relevant fields preferred
- Minimum seven years of experience managing international programs related to academic degree and training programs, organizational performance improvement, and/or university partnerships, with a majority of this experience in Egypt
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Strong communications skills
- Experience working with a variety of media required
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English required
