Training and performance improvement specialist Egypt
Chemonics seeks a training and performance improvement specialist for an anticipated five-year, USAID-funded project in Egypt to support opportunities for academic degrees, training, and partnerships. The project will also support services to connect individual knowledge and skills to improved organizational capacity and performance. The position will be based in Cairo. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that activities are technically sound, effective, and address the unique needs of Egyptian organizations and participants
- Coordinate and partner with multiple training and capacity development services providers to implement a broad range of short- and long-term educational and training activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in institutional development or other relevant fields preferred
- Minimum five years of experience supporting training, organizational capacity development, and performance improvement in overseas and development contexts, preferably in Egypt or the Middle East region
- Experience working through partnerships with academic institutions and training services providers
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, integrity
- Strong communications skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English required; Arabic language skills preferred
