International Power Engineering Consultant

Support for Public Private Partnership Framework Development in Myanmar; Asian Development Bank, Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

The project aims to support the development of policies, processes and institutional management structures for public-private partnerships (PPP). The TA will provide the Government tools to better direct and balance PPP project outcomes in the short term, and set the stage for more holistic and sustainable national management of PPPs.

The TA comprises the following outputs:

• Institutional structure for managing PPP projects and finances proposed;
• Ministry of Electric Power private sector investment management capacity improved;
• Knowledge of and developments in relation to PPPs shared

International Project Consultants: (Only the experts meeting the set criteria will be shortlisted and contacted)

International Power Engineering Consultant (6 person-months) 

• Relevant engineering degree. 
• Minimum 10 years of practical work experience in developing, designing, tendering and/or implementing electric power generation projects.
• Work experience in both developed and developing countries preferred.
• Experience with ICB in the context of PPP projects required. 
• Familiarity working on projects subject to limited recourse project financing preferred.
