We are currently recruiting a Graduate Engineer to join the Management Services business unit on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, you will assist in the delivery of projects through research, investigation, model development and report writing.

Key Responsibilities

To be successful you will be required to have –
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering. A dual qualification in Business Management, Finance or Economics is desirable
  • Knowledge of asset management methodologies and tools
  • Advanced skills in report writing and excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work within a team environment through well-developed interpersonal skills
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • The ability to get involved and learn from others, whilst also contributing to a vibrant team

Other Requirements

This position offers the opportunity for you to –
  • Develop your technical asset management skills
  • Participate in the delivery of projects and ensure work is of a technically high standard
  • Undertake research and investigation activities in line with budget and time constraints
  • Inspect infrastructure (including water, electricity generation and transmission, transport, buildings and civil) to determine its condition and develop management strategies
  • Undertake work related training and demonstrate a willingness to pursue self development for career advancement
  • Collaborate with project staff and work within a team of technical specialists in their field
