Volunteer Market Analyst, New Diagnostic Technologies

One of the hallmarks of the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is simultaneous and intensive engagement on the demand and supply sides of the market to improve access to medicines and diagnostics for patients in developing countries.  CHAI’s global access programme works to address supply-side barriers to access to new diagnostic technologies to lower income countries, while CHAI’s country teams help governments understand the market, access lower prices, and facilitate the roll-out of new and improved products.  Additionally, country teams work closely with governments to scale up and strengthen diagnosis, care and treatment programmes.  In support of this activity, CHAI Swaziland is working with the Swaziland Health Laboratory Services (SHLS) to support the roll-out of new diagnostic technologies, as well as strengthen their equipment and supply management capabilities.
