Position Summary

The HSSE Performance Analyst will be expected to analyze HSSE & Engineering data, extract trends and key messages, and design reports and scorecards that communicate performance to a wide variety of audiences. This person will work closely with team leaders and subject matter experts to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the various HSSE reporting systems and processes being used in BG India’s business.
The Performance Analyst will also act the IAPS functional planner for the HSSE department

Key Accountabilities

-     Analyze HSSE & Engineering databases and pull out trends and key messages and action reports
-     Assist in trending and root cause analysis of BGEPIL health and safety, process safety, and environmental incidents
-     Prepare incident investigation reports in collaboration with HSSE team leads
-     Collate the performance statistics from all locations and prepare reports
-     Draw conclusions from the data and use this to proactively suggest new areas for further analysis
-     Maintain HSSE training database, organize mandatory HSSE trainings
-     Evaluate the effectiveness of existing HSSE Data and reporting systems and processes and recommend ways to simplify and improve
-     Design scorecards and reports that present the output of trending analysis tailored to various audiences, including leadership, operations and HSSE
-     Prepare HSSE promotional materials like posters and campaign materials to improve HSSE communication
-     Collaborate with team to design and produce a standardized set of HSSE scorecards, presentations and reports
-     Managing, maintaining and updating the HSSE functions plans in Primavera P6 (IAPS core tool) at the 8y, 2Y, 90D and 6 week horizons within the IAPS guidelines
-     Manage the functional planning meetings
-     Resolves of planning conflicts according to overall business priority andrequirements of the functional head
-     Work with the Base Scheduler & IAPS Scheduler to identify and promote functional CAP activities from the Integrated Activity Plan into the facility Schedule
-     Work with the IAPS core team within the asset to promote CAP activities from the functional plan into the Integrated plan across horizons.
-     Tracks plan performance metrics
-      Ensure plans are consistent with Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute

Experience Needed :
  -     Experience with data analysis and reporting is essential
  -  Experience in upstream E&P operations and HSSE desirable
 
Knowledge, Languages,Skills and Attributes
 
  -  Bachelor of Science/ Engineering degree, Oil & Gas preferable. In case of other than Oil & Gas qualification previous offshore experience preferable
   -  Good Communication and presentation skills
   -     Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with tight timelines
   -     Building activity plans and using planning tools such as Primavera P6.
   -     Previous knowledge of Synergi preferable.
 
   Occasional travel to offshore might be required
