We are ResultsinHealth, an international advisory agency that specializes in public health and development. We work for governments, non-governmental organizations, bilateral and international organizations and financing agencies. We are passionate about improving the health of populations and creating better health care systems. One of our largest projects is to provide on-going support to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in ensuring correct implementation of its grants for these three diseases. ResultsinHealth provides this support in collaboration with a global team of associated experts, the services of which are coordinated from our office in Leiderdorp, in The Netherlands.

To strengthen operations in our Global Fund portfolio we look for a

Project Administrator (m/f)

who wishes to link financial administration with strengthening project management. You will ensure that an effective invoicing process is in place, that financial flows are effectively monitored, and that key financial flow data are used to improve project operations. To achieve this, you will become part of our Global Fund project management team.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be to:

  1. Ensure that all activities in RiH’s Global Fund portfolio are accurately and timely invoiced, and that all invoices of sub-contractors are well received and followed up. This responsibility will involve close collaboration with RiH's Global Fund project coordinators and RiH’s general finance administrator.
  2. Maintain a register of all incoming and outgoing invoices for Global Fund work, record payment activity, and follow-up on invoice payment. Initiate payments to sub-contractors. Prepare monthly overviews of invoice payments.
  3. Analyse invoicing, payment activity and financial progress, and report (asked and unasked) to senior management.
  4. Collaborate with RiH's Global Fund project coordinators and RiH’s general finance administrator to strengthen integration between project management and financial management of the Global Fund project, with an emphasis on systems optimisation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher vocational training (HBO) in the field of Finance, Economics, or similar.
  • Experience in working in a project management team.
  • Preferably 3 – 7 years of experience in project administration.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of other languages is seen as an asset.

We offer

  • A part-time assignment of 20 hours per week, preferably spread over 4-5 days.
  • Salary range € 2.600 - € 3.600 per month (based on 40 hours per week), depending on level of experience, plus 8% holiday allowance.
  • Duty station: Leiderdorp, The Netherlands. Field travel not foreseen.

Position within RiH

The Project administrator will work closely together with our Global Fund project management team and will report to the Directors. Due to our current team composition, we are particularly interested in male candidates.
