Qualifications: |
Qualifications and skills• Ability to speak, write and communicate in English fluently; • Highly skilful in presentation, communication, negotiation and report preparation as well as teamwork; • Computer literacy; • Education at least up to University degree / equivalent academic level from a recognised university in a relevant domain; • Familiarity with Project Cycle Management (PCM) and Logical Framework (LF) approach, including budgeting and monitoring; • Knowledge of EC development policies, legislation and procedures and experience with EU strategic programming for co-operation projects, as well as familiarity with EC administrative, contractual and financial procedures; • Fully fit for travelling between Europe and India
General professional experience• Preferably 10 years experience in training programmes, communication/awareness-raising programmes and policy dialogues, including preferably 7 year experience in the environment sector.
Specific professional experience• Experience in promotion and deployment of clean technologies; • At least 5 years experience in capacity building programmes with progressive responsibility in planning and implementing activity support for policy dialogue. • At least 5 years experience in organising international exposure trips and short courses for strengthening policy planning, management and technical skills in the environment sector. • At least 5 years experience in project management/team leadership including logical framework methodology. • Experience of EC project management procedures, monitoring and reporting. • Experience in Indian sub-continent considered as an asset. |
