Programme Director - Masters of Public Administration
We are seeking to recruit a Programme Director to lead the University of York's MPA (Master of Public Administration) in International Development, part of the Department of Social Policy and Social Work’s innovative portfolio of postgraduate online professional development programmes.
This post is an important leadership role and an exciting opportunity to engage with an innovative mode of teaching and learning, with responsibility for managing and further developing the programme, and also for contributing to the strategic management of the online programmes as whole. We are seeking somebody who can demonstrate expertise in international development via practitioner or academic experience, is aware of key themes, discourses and networks in international development and who has an interest in and commitment to post-graduate level development for mid-career professionals. Key duties include overall coordination of the programme, teaching and supervision, the continued development of teaching materials across a range of modules, marketing and recruitment and managing key relationships with external stakeholders.
