Risk and Safety Engineer - Downstream

Our Client - is a major EPC Contractor Globally.  Tasked with managing a flagship project within the region they are looking to identify talented HSE Professionals with a focus on downstream Oil and Gas Industry

Job Description -

• Ensures that all work is being executed in a safe manner, compliant with safety rules and regulations stipulated in the Project HSE plan.
• Ensures all equipment to be used for specific activities on site is safe and in good working condition and that regular preventive maintenance of all machineries & equipment are done.
• Develops and implements preventive or corrective HSE actions.
• Participates in and ensures the quality of HSE risk assessments, Hazard ID and other safety engineering studies and processes.
• Liaises with project team on processes including HSE Risk Management and Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Identifying HSE concerns and risks during SID reviews, 3-D model and material handling reviews, Fire Protection reviews, Emergency Response Plan development

 
Candidate Requirements -

• 7 years of Safety and Risk experience.
• Engineering or related technical degree (Mechanical degree recommended).
• Expert knowledge and experience utilizing process safety tools and a broad background in HSE engineering design, planning / budgeting and project cost control.
• Knowledge and experience of oil and gas production facilities.
