Position Summary

Job holder will be primary support for the Treasury & Risk Manager in BG Brasil’s Risk Management, Insurance, Credit Risk and Investor relations activities. Their key focus will be to improve and deliver all risk management goals for BG Brasil, complying with relevant group policies.

Also related to risk, the renewal of insurance policies and compliance with BG credit risk requirements is another key aspect in this position.

The job holder will also be required to support some treasury activities on a case by case basis when the requirement arises.

 The Job holder plays a key role in the relationship between the regional risk team and the group risk, insurance and credit teams.

Key Accountabilities

·         Responsible to produce the quarterly risk management report, using the BG risk system and liasing with group risk on subsequent queries.

·         Responsible to hold risk workshops for BG Brasil teams, supporting them to maintain team risk registers

·         Responsible to coordinate monthly reporting on competitor intelligence

·         Responsible to renewal various insurance policies throughout the year, and ad hoc assistance on contractual insurance clauses

·         Key contact and responsible for maintaining insurance broker relationship

·         Responsible for credit risk reviews, liaising with external credit companies to provide recommendations on key suppliers

·         Assistance in maintaining investor relations contact with key partners, review of key market releases

·         Assistance when required in cash planning of payments/receipts from BG Brasil companies, (close interaction with Accounts Payables/Receivables Analyst);
