A major EPC company based in UAE has an opportunity for a Lead Process Safety and Loss Prevention Engineer to work on a large offshore Platform facility till 2019.
Job Description -
  • Loss Prevention / HSE / Process engineering encompassing Conceptual.
  • FEED & EPIC projects.
  • The key work experience includes preparation and development of philosophy documents for Loss Prevention.
  • HSE.
  • Active & Passive fire protection system.
  • Fire water system PFD and P&ID.
  • Fire water demand calculation report.
  • Fire protection system hydraulics.
  • Adequacy reports.
  • F & G Cause & Effect Matrix F & G system layout.
  • Hazardous Area Classification drawings.
  • Schedule of Hydrocarbon releases.
  • Project specific HSE plan.
  • HSE Risk register.
  • Fire Protection & Safety equipment layout.
  • Emergency escape route drawings.
  • Specification and Data sheet.
  • MTO & MR for Fire extinguisher and Safety equipment.
  • FEED, EPIC Scope of Work.
  • Preparation and participation in Safety studies.
  • Actively participated in HAZOP, HAZID, ENVID, QRA, OHRA, PHSER.
  • SIL
  • Project Safety & Design reviews and also involved in the close-out activities.
  • Must have worked as Lead engineer and executed the projects independently with in an EPC company.
  • Conversant with design tools like Pipenet, Aspen Hysys.
  • Thorough knowledge & experience in International engineering standards.
  • Design practices and client guidelines. Conversant in vendor, Client co-ordination & vendor package review.
  • Must be flexible, ready to learn and also open to new ideas & technologies.  
     
Candidate requirements-  
  • Education: Candidates MUST possess a BS Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Candidate should have ideally 20 years experience.  
  • Also, candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to run various simulation models as well as having in depth offshore facility/process operation and optimization experience.
  • Candidates must have strong oral and written English skills.
