Our Client - An exciting opportunity exists for a major oil operator in Malaysia.

Job Description -     

• Monitor and report on performance, quality and progress of the Contractor and Sub-Contractors.
• Principal responsibilities include monitoring of Contract with regard to Construction and Fabrication and ensuring Contractor executes work in full compliance.  
   

Candidate Requirements -

• Act as the focal point and lead/manage the company's and contractor's site team to achieve the high quality level of Oil & Gas platform construction and project objective.
• Lead the site team to review and approve the construction procedures. Contact project engineer and other key relevant personnel if any supports are required.
• Inspect/ keep/ maintain high level quality of assembly, welding and testing according to code/standard/specification.
• Supervise and control work of onshore fabrication and offshore construction contractor to be completed as planned and in accordance with contractual terms and conditions, required quality, engineering specification, committed time frame and approved budget.
• Present and promote the key/ important information (such as, team targets, goal, KPI and achievements) to the working team and alert working teams if major risks are concerned.
• Routinely report to Project Manager / Head of Project Construction regarding the highlight activities, work progress, HSE, issues/concerns and change order.
• Liaise with Company Project Management Team (PMT) and contractor for technical and contractual issues at fabrication site.
• Ensure Contractor strictly adheres to HSE objectives, guidelines and responsible for HSE performance at site.
• Front line at site to handle the change orders and coordinate with project engineer to technically agree on that change.
  

Candidate Requirements-

• At least Bachelor's Degree in : B.Sc./B.Eng in Mechanical, Civil/Structural Engineering
• Minimum 12 Years in Process Plant Engineering, Procurement, Construction related Industry including at least 6 Years in  green field construction management and project quality control (Detail design, Construction, Sea-fastening, Load-out, Hookup and Commissioning) of offshore platforms, wellhead platforms, central processing platforms, utility platforms for oil and gas installation with EPC/EPCC/EPCIC nature
• Experience in multi-cultural working environment with tight schedule project.
• CSWIP 3.2 -Senior Welding Inspector or CSWIP 3.1 -Welding Inspector
• PCN UT Level 2 ( 3.1,3.2 & 3.9 ), PCN RT -Radiographic Interpreter Level 2 (3.4 -All group) and ASNT Level 2 in PT,MT
• Good computer skill
• Fluent written and oral communication
