Process Safety Engineer

Our Client - Is a major EPC Contractor Globally.  Tasked with managing a flagship project within the region they are looking to identify talented HSE Professionals with a focus on downstream Oil and Gas Industry.

Job Description -

• Provide and implement process safety and risk management strategies for project, including generating all safety and loss prevention deliverables.
• Ensure efforts are made to minimize mistakes and drive good quality safety and loss prevention deliverables across all packages with Project.
• Propose technologies / organizational solutions for risk reduction.
• Support team with risk assessment studies, frequency analysis, consequence analysis, QRA study, ALARP demonstration.
• Conduct risk assessment and process hazard analysis using What-If, HAZID, HAZOP and LOPA methodology.
• Develop technical & commercial guidelines related to Process Safety.

 Candidate Requirements –

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering with preference for Chemical Engineering or Safety Risk Engineering.
• Certified Safety Professional or Certified Functional Safety Expert certifications preferred.
• Minimum 10 years engineering experience with facilities and operations in the Chemical and/or Petroleum Industry.
• Have knowledge in process engineering, technological risk consequence assessment, hazard identification methodology, hazardous consequences modelling technique.
• Familiar with software Phast, PhastRisk, Pipenet or similar.
• Experience to facilitate process hazard workshop and safety studies.
