Microsoft BI Lead Developer - Project Management Skills Want

Our Client - Microsoft Oil and Gas Technical consultancy firm with exciting projects across Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

Job Description - We are currently seeking a Microsoft BI Team Lead with exceptional consulting skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to mixed audiences. These are client-facing roles responsible for the development, definition, design and deployment of all components of the Microsoft Business Intelligence tool set. Candidates may be located anywhere in the U.S. and travel 75% or be based in one of our client's offices and travel 50% (you will be based locally when possible).

In this role you will be managing Microsoft BI projects and be a key member in growing out the business.

Candidate Requirements - The minimum skill set requires you to responsible for design of standard Microsoft BI Platform infrastructure to meet typical performance requirements. You should be able to develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration requirements and deploys ETL (SSIS) processes across multiple environments. You should also have solid experience with Reporting Services (SSRS) and Analysis Services (SSAS) and deployment to support medium & large user bases. You should have strong database and SQL skills in SQL Server 2005/2008.

You will be expected to lead clients in the development, definition, design and deployment of all components of the Microsoft Business Intelligence tool set. You will also be expected to understand and develop best practices for design, development and deployment of Microsoft Business Intelligence Development Suite (BIDS).

Finally, as an Architect, you will be expected to design the BI architecture foundation to support requirements for fail over, load balancing, web, firewall, high availability, infrastructure security and capacity planning. You must be an expert on production configuration and installation and migration issues. Prior exposure to SSAS, Cube Development and Deployment within a Production Environment is also needed.

As a team lead, you will be expected to manage multiple Microsoft BI projects at one time.
