Reports to: Laboratory Services Manager
a) Duties
Receiving, extracting and recording samples for laboratory examination.
Prepare laboratory equipment and chemical tests and examinations
Inspect and store laboratory reagents, equipment and chemicals
Keep and maintain laboratory records
Maintain a list of laboratory equipment in the section
Perform laboratory examination of samples and recording results under supervision
Perform any other duties as shall be assigned by his/her superior
b) Required Qualifications
Holder of Diploma in Laboratory or any related field from any recognized institution. He/s
be registered with the Health Laboratory Practitioners Council.

Applicants who have foreign certificates should certify the same to the relevant authority before submitting their applications.
Presentation of forged Certificates and other in formations in the CV shall call for legal action;
Applicants who are currently employed in the Public Service should route their applications to their current employers.
Applicants who have/were retired from the Public Service for w.hatever reason should not apply.
Applicants with special needs/case (disability) are required to indicate.
Only shortlisted candidates will be informed the date for interview;
Applications should be made on the strength of the requirements provided in the advertisement;
The applications should reach the office of the undersigned not later than 14 days from the first appearance date of this advertisement.
