The person:

Capable of taking a holistic view of the region in which they operate, the Account Executive (AE) manages a diverse portfolio of Multiple Retail Groups and Key Accounts to deliver the maximum commercial impact for the total Diageo portfolio in a vibrant, complex and fast evolving market place.

AE customers are trend forming, shape the regional performance and deliver a material impact on the P&L making sales and negotiation an large part of the role. 

Commercially minded, analytical and capable of dealing with multiple data sources, AE's continually re-evaluate & prioritise opportunities. They know the value of every account and every case we sell - this drives ruthless prioritisation. Relishing the challenge of finding and winning new business the AE always has one eye on the future and is able to effortlessly define where they can make the biggest impact in the total zone. 

You are: 

  • Passionate about our brands in the on-trade and as comfortable selling Ciroc as you are Smirnoff and Guinness, the AE creates and delivers, grows categories, joint value creating propositions, that win for the consumer, the customer & Diageo.

  • Execution is everything - deals are not done until the product is in every outlet, visible and served perfectly.

  • Relationships are key – Meaningful customer & team relationships built on material results, the AE is able to inspire and hold tension when needed. Your contact network is vast and includes internal connections - you leverage this to deliver the maximum impact for the region at pace. A keen coach the AE supports the development of the total zone, training new starters around structure and driving the commerciality of the whole team.

  • Brilliant basics of robust forecasting, administration, account and invoice management are a given.

Must hold a Full UK Drivers Licence
Must have been actively driving for over 1 year
Must be over 21 years of age
