Responding to the needs of our growing business, we are seeking a graduate or candidate with equivalent experience to join our team based in Hemel Hempstead. We are looking for a Recruiter for our busy Business Development and operational units. The role will support recruitment for both proposals and projects covering a wide variety of subject matter areas. The role is responsible for supporting the full recruitment life cycle of staffing on international projects and donor bids.
We would like to hear from you if you have an interest in international development as well as recruitment experience, strong administrative and good team-working skills along with an ability to meet tight deadlines and excellent written and spoken English.

For the role the successful candidate will have:

  • as a minimum, an undergraduate degree or equivalent in relevant field and preferably REC/CIPD qualified;
  • minimum of 4/5 years’ relevant work experience; experience of recruitment systems;
  • ability to take responsibility for, and lead, complex assignments;
  • demonstrated recruitment, project management or business development experience;
  • experience of using Social Media as a sourcing tool;
  • excellent communication and interviewing skills; experience in salary negotiations and networking;
  • customer-focused with an ability to confidently communicate with internal and external clients/candidates;
  • ability to multi-task, often with inflexible deadlines.
Experience of working with the European Commission or other donors would be an advantage, as is experience in a consultancy environment and additional language skills.
The position will be based in DAI's Hemel Hempstead office with the flexibility to work across UK offices as required.
Salary in range £25,000 - £30,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include company pension, private health scheme, cycle to work scheme and contribution to gym membership (after a qualifying period).
