We are looking for an Experienced Project Manager to join our Parts and Services product area within Logistics to plan, organise, monitor, execute and control internal logistics projects to achieve project delivery on time, cost and within the specified scope and quality.
Job Summary
In this role you will create, develop and execute Project Plans according to the Project Charter (or equivalent), utilizing your expertise in supply chain management. You will ensure efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources and execute projects according to Sandvik Project models and appropriate methods. You will lead, train, coach, manage and motivate the project team and manage dependencies, risks and opportunities. You will follow-up and report on project status; communicating effectively with the project team and stakeholders. You will manage any changes to the project scope imposed by e.g. customer or steering group decisions. You will be responsible for handing-over project deliverables to receiving organizations.
This role would ideally be based in Australia, Ireland or the Netherlands but applications from other countries where we have a logistics presence would also be considered. Some travel will be expected as and when required.
Your profile
You must have a proven background in Supply Chain Management and Project Management. You will have experience of working with cross cultural workgroups and have exceptional written and oral communication skills. You will have excellent leadership and analytical skills and be experienced in project management methodologies and techniques. Knowledge and experience of implementing IT solutions would be an advantage. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially PowerPoint.
