GLOBAL GRADUATE PROGRAM - SWEDEN

Sandvik in Sweden is looking for
Exceptionally Talented Graduates
YOUR FUTURE & OUR PASSION
GLOBAL GRADUATE PROGRAM
Sandvik is a global industry group, present in more than 150 countries, with advanced products and world-leading positions in a multitude of areas. Last year, eleven of the world’s most talented graduates entered our Global Graduate Program. Selected for their drive and innovative minds, they’ve commenced a performance-driven career path within a company that truly recognizes the importance of professional development. September 2017 marks the start of Sandvik Global Graduate Program 3, as we’re giving performance-driven, aspiring, career orientated individuals an opportunity to embark on the journey of a lifetime.
The Sandvik Global Graduate Program is an 18-month rotation program through which our future leaders are developed. The program combines three job rotation periods with four learning modules and gives broad international exposure. In addition to being part of the program, our graduates share high aspirations, a keen interest for different cultures and the desire to become a future Sandvik leader. To really thrive and be successful in the program, you must be eager to learn, hardworking and have the passion to succeed. Our candidates are carefully selected to match our leadership model and to ensure that they have the right attitude to be able to share our company culture. The right candidates are driven by a desire to make a difference and are offered a world of opportunities.
The graduate program
Starting out with an eight-month training period in Sweden, you gain knowledge about Sandvik in your own geographical market, as well as practical experience of Sandvik’s way of doing business. The second training period will be with one of our markets outside your home country. In your final training period, you take part in a strategically important project, either in Sweden or in another part of the Sandvik world.
The program includes four learning modules, in which participants get together to take part in learning programs. These modules focus on understanding Sandvik as a global company: our business and leadership and our way of working with your career and personal development. You are assigned a senior Sandvik leader as a mentor during the program and are employed by Sandvik in Sweden from day one. Throughout the program, you continually receive feedback and evaluation on your performance, and where you will start your Sandvik career after the program is decided through personal development dialogues, as well as the business’ needs. The program provides challenging and rewarding opportunities, and you will be able – and expected – to contribute in an innovative environment. Your career is performance driven and you are given the opportunity to work for a company that truly recognizes the importance of professional development.
International travel is included in the Graduate Program. Candidates must be available for assessment interviews between January and March and able to start the program in September 2017.
