The department of Planning & Capacity Management at our site in Svedala is responsible for procurement and planning for production and aftermarket, and our team consists of purchasers, planners and order handlers. We are now looking for a social and inspiring Global Inventory Specialist for our truly global environment, with many possibilities to influence our future development.
Job Summary
As a Global Inventory Specialist you are responsible for building, executing and proactively improving our inventory strategy and ensuring overall logistics, inventory delivery services and the balance between inventory and investments, in order to reach given targets. You develop and maintain general inventory plans and define levels and locations, as well as ensure measurable parameters in terms of improved customer service, reduced inventory and better KPI results. Taking ownership of action plans and correcting gaps is a vital part of your responsibility and you enable global cooperation regarding inventory levels and optimized supply, based on demand patterns. Furthermore, you engage in developing and following up on improvements regarding all processes related to inventory planning.
International travel is included in this position.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Master’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or Engineering, or who has gained equivalent knowledge through previous work experience. You are experienced in inventory and supply chain management and have a broad understanding of production planning and forecasting, as well as an understanding of manufacturing and supply for manufacturing, preferably in a global setting. Knowledge of Movex/M3 and an APICS Certification are considered advantageous. As we interact in an international market, you have excellent skills in English, both verbal and written.

Analyzing numbers and drawing conclusions from complex facts are some of your strengths, and you take full ownership of the responsibilities within your area. As we depend on good relationships, you use your excellent communication and presentation skills to build trust within your networks and you conduct and coordinate continuous improvement activities.
