Director of Asset Management Supervision

The Central Bank of Ireland is a dynamic, multifaceted organisation at the heart of Ireland’s financial system. We have responsibility for the safeguarding of Irish financial stability and the regulation of the Irish financial services industry.
The Bank is seeking to fill this Director position within Financial Regulation. Reporting to the Deputy Governor, Financial Regulation the role will be offered as 5 year fixed term positions and will be part of the Senior Leadership Committee participating in the development and execution of the Bank’s strategy. This pivotal role will offer the successful appointees the unique opportunity to work within Irish and European financial regulation.
Director of Asset Management Supervision
The successful appointee will oversee the supervision of Irish investment firms and fund service providers comprising over 300 regulated entities with a diverse range of business models. This includes the ongoing enhancement of the supervisory approach drawing on supervisory insights, regulatory data and emerging international trends to ensure the thematic programmes, focus areas and capabilities of the team are sufficiently targeted, robust and proactive. This role will encompass leading and developing a large high performing multidisciplinary team to deliver the required results.
