The role
Currently we have a vacancy for a Rocktools Planner to join the team at our Heatherbrae site. This role is responsible for operational supply chain which includes forecast accuracy and maintaining relationships with internal and external supplier for a range of Rock tools product lines.
Key performance areas
- Analyse regional inventory levels to ensure customer service and inventory availability expectations are met.
- Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
- Interact with sales to understand demand forecast drivers.
- Working with internal and external suppliers as well as the sales area to achieve continuous supply of Rocktools using both a high level of analysis and statistical adjustments in the forecasting tool.
- Responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPI’s) for various Rock tool product lines within the region.
- Regular reporting on inventory KPI’s.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s in Logistics/Supply Chain Management. 5 + years experience in inventory planning is important, as is a strong affinity for figures and data. You have interest or knowledge within ERP-Systems and Excel/Access, while experience of supply issues is advantageous. Completion of 'Basics of Supply Chain' from APICS is also much preferred in this role.
