Consultant: Feasibility Study - Jinja Sports Project
Soft Power Education (SPE) is working with communities in the Jinja District of Uganda working to improve the quality of life through education.
We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated, organised, enthusiastic and independent thinking individual to conduct a feasibility study for a potential future project in the field of sports for primary school children. This individual should have a clear understanding of sports in Uganda and more specifically in the primary sector.
The applicant must have:
• University degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (e.g. sports science, education)
• Minimum 2 years experience in a relevant field
• Proven experience in writing feasibility studies, preferably within the NGO field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience of self motivation and management
• Excellent organisational skills and be comfortable managing multiple tasks, planning ahead and meeting deadlines
SPE are looking for someone ready and willing to start as soon as possible on a short term 3 month contract.
Interviews will take place in Jinja, Uganda but Skype may be an option in certain circumstances.
