Functional and Technical.
„X Develop projections for capex requirements, operating costs, income and cash flow
„X Determine financial and economic rates of return
„X Undertake sensitivity analysis
„X Develop viable farming models for different sizes and types of enterprises
„X Determination of break even points
„X Calculating economic and financial cost benefits and returns, direct and indirect, resulting from the project development.
„X Assessment of impact on beneficiaries
„X Liaise and build sound professional relationships with staff, clients and key stakeholders
Miscellaneous
„X Attend assigned meetings, committee meetings and conferences, as required.
„X Keep abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
„X Maintain good relationship with stakeholders.
„X Perform any other related activities.

Holder Specifications
Academic and Professional Qualification
„X A Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Agricultural Economics or related field.
Experience
„X A minimum of 5 years experience working as an agricultural economist
„X Previous practical experience working in an agricultural enterprise
„X High standard of written and verbal communication skills
„X Be an effective team player who is able to work both in a team environment as well as independently.
„X Detail oriented and able to analyse information from disparate sources.
„X Intellectually curious ¡V eager to learn and acquire new skills
