Experienced Chief EU Policy Analyst – Education and Training Policies 2020

Centre for Policy and Business Analysis at Danish Technological Institute is recruiting one or two experienced EU chief policy analysts to our premises in Denmark near Copenhagen and Aarhus, Jutland. Do you want to play a lead role in expanding our high-profile international market with our strong partner network?

Your profile

We expect that:

  • You have a strong commercial orientation - and you have experience in preparing and winning European tenders on education and training topics.
  • You have at least 6-10 years of relevant professional experience as a consultant or contract researcher with primary focus on the EU policy agenda on education and training – preferably also regarding international cooperation on education beyond Europe.
  • You have a master’s or a PhD in political science or similar fields.
  • You have experience and a strong track record in working on studies and themes pertaining to the European Agenda 2020 for education and training – in particular in higher education, vocational education and continuing education and training -and a deep understanding of emerging trends which may impact education and training systems.
  • You are experienced in managing projects, including resource management as well as team management.
  • You have a strong personal drive, but you are also a team player and you have a strong network.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English (ideally native), and preferably you master at least one or two more languages such as German, French or Spanish.

The Centre for Policy and Business Analysis has become a recognised provider of policy analysis services to the European Commission and its agencies in our core areas of expertise. Increasingly we also offer services for governments and international agencies outside the EU. About 50% of our turnover stems from international activities and we actively seek to expand our international portfolio. The Centre’s business profile covers three business areas:

  • education and training systems, lifelong learning, and labour market policies;
  • industry and technology policies, innovation, and sustainable and smart growth; and
  • information society policies (e-government, e-skills, e-inclusion, e-business, ICT as an enabling innovation technology).
  • You will collaborate with talented, motivated, and performance oriented colleagues and partners in an informal and open culture. Only persons with relevant experience need apply.

The Centre for Policy and Business Analysis is a part of Danish Technological Institute, a not-for-profit accredited technological service institute. We are part of the approved Technological Service Net, which plays a central role in Danish innovation policies.
