A Senior Consultant is required for an established and successful public affairs consultancy. You will join the senior management and be responsible for managing important client accounts; developing client relationships; devising and delivering public affairs programmes; and generating new business.
You will:
- Possess strong political acumen and insights.
- Be a skilled client manager and establish a significant depth of knowledge about your client’s businesses.
- Develop ideas and opportunities for new business.
- Be a confident, authoritative presenter and a successful advocate for the company.
You will have a track record in providing senior counsel on political and strategic issues – this could be within an agency, in-house or political environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in EU Affairs (preferably in EU Brussels).
- Thorough knowledge of and network in the European institutions.
- Excellent command of the English language is a must (and fluent knowledge of Dutch, German or French).
- Proven writing, analytical and research skills.
- Very good organisational skills, ability to work effectively under time pressure and on numerous issues simultaneously.
- Flexible and willing to travel.
