Senior Finance Manager and Operations Manager

International Relief and Development is seeking an Agricultural Production Specialist and a Senior Financial Manager for an anticipated USAID-funded Agricultural and Rural Development Project in Haiti. The award is anticipated at the end of 2011 and the objective of the program is to increase agricultural incomes and exports in Haiti’s Northern Corridor.

QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced degree (graduate level: doctorate, Master’s, etc.) in Agronomy or Finance. Minimum 12 years of relevant experience. Experience managing a project of similar size and breadth. Experience in USAID project management. Spoken and written fluency in English, French, and Haitian Creole. Demonstrated understanding of the Haitian context. Proven record of achieving development impacts in a similar context. Demonstrated ability to work and coordinate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, including national and local government, donors, community-based organizations, think tanks and universities, and the private sector. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to manage high-level relationships and motivate subordinates.
