Job Purpose This is a highly specialized senior role, responsible for the overall governance of the architecture, across all technologies within Etihad Airways, defining the enterprise architecture process and architecture review process, and for leading the integration of those processes with related business and IT processes, introducing an Architectural perspective on all corporate governance matters and change planning. Responsibilities You will be responsible to: Lead the execution of technology strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships. Provide visible technical leadership for the company within the technology community. Anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape. Establish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for product selection / development and company operations. Accountable for managing and safeguarding the computing, communications, and information systems within Etihad Airways and links to external entities. Responsible to provide a secure, stable, reliable, and adaptable computing and networking infrastructure with a high availability to serve and support the business objectives. Lead the evolution of the enterprise architecture function/program. Understand, advocate and support the enterprise's strategies Lead analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement Lead analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise architecture. Promote the architecture process, outcomes and results to the organization, including the enterprise's business leaders Lead and facilitate the creation of governing principles to guide architecture decision making. Lead the development of an implementation plan for the enterprise architecture based on business Requirements and strategies Ensure that the optimal governance structure and compliance activities (such as handling waivers) are associated with architecture compliance. Requirements University degree or equivalent qualification in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering.10 years work experience in IT, at least 5 of which in Architecture roles. In addition to above; you are required to have the following: Strong leadership skills. Excellent analytical and technical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting. Ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions.
