Market Research Coordinator EDMA

EDMA, The European Diagnostic Manufacturers Association, is looking for a

Market Research Coordinator

For a period of one year, half-time starting as soon as possible.

PROFILE

The ideal candidate should:

• Be proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Be a recent graduate in biology or chemistry or a PhD candidate in a similar field, or has working experience in a laboratory or in a IVD company;
• Demonstrates analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail;
• Be familiar with complex research methods;
• Have a creative and problem-solving approach;
• Be computer literate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Market Research Coordinator comprise, inter alia, the following:

• Regular update of the Global In Vitro Diagnostics Classification (GIVD) in cooperation with EDMA members;
• Coordination of EDMA market research programmes (Diagnostics Market Statistics and Management Information System):
• Liaise with external consultants;
• Promote Market Research projects;
• Lead the expansion to new countries (both within and outside the EU) and companies.
• Publication of the annual press release on In Vitro Diagnostics trends in Europe
• Data collection from EDMA members;
• Drafting of country trends in cooperation with EDMA members.

The position is remunerated. Further details will be provided during the interview. The selected candidate will enjoy full-flexibility in terms of her/his work schedule.
