Job Purpose

Successful candidate will identify, develop and penetrate corporate/TMC business opportunities through Sabre partnership; implement new corporate contracts with America’s and Global Sales Teams; generate and achieve incremental revenue by maximizing opportunities through new corporate business; liaise with Etihad VP’s and Sabre VP’s.To penetrate new targeted business with Get There Systems, Travelocity and Last Minute.com to improve Etihad’s share of Sabre’s bookings and performance. Generate additional premium corporate/TMC business revenues with targeted goals; ongoing analysis on ROI from this new business; ongoing competitive analysis.Integrated into the Sabre “cutover” implementation with Etihad.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

  • Support colleagues, through sharing learning and best practice; able to balance the ability to work independently
  • Make critical decisions to secure incremental and profitable revenue without direct supervision
  • Ask relevant and pertinent questions; feedback and provide concise information to ensure accurate responses to new business opportunities
  • Provide innovative solutions and recommendations on business issues and respond with appropriate speed and measures
  • Enables services to be directed appropriately to meet guest needs which in turn generate a profitable return on investment
  • Identify and interact with key stakeholders who can effectively influence or drive decisions that ensure a quick response to market opportunities
Requirements
University degree graduate with five years sales experience in travel industry out of which 3 years in management role.

In addition to above; you are required to have the following:

  • Self starter with strong planning, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills to understand broad scope of revenue data & information
  • Ability to work under pressure and to complete projects requiring short lead times
  • Team leadership skills, politically savvy, positive, energetic, dynamic and creative
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and negotiating skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Flexibility and creativity in the approach of daily operational challenges
  • Willingness to travel both domestic and international
  • Knowledge of EY organization, policies and procedures inclusive of global strategic direction of the Etihad Global
  • Strong PC skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
Operating Environment
  • Able to work independently without supervision.
  • Prepared to work more than 40 hours per week (e.g. to participate in customer oriented events/trade shows)
  • Travel as required
