People Business Partner – Communications and Fundraising

Salary: Starting from £36,032
Location: Vauxhall, London

Are you a good coach and mentor who can build relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds and influence at senior levels?

Do you have the skills to help an award-winning global organisation achieve an ambitious five-year strategy that aims to double its income to £100 million and bring water and sanitation facilities to 25 million people by 2015?

Could you help us develop new and courageous people management practices, and build a high performing environment where our talented global team can reach their full potential?

WaterAid is strengthening its People and Organisational Development Team to align our resource against specific business areas and develop our strategic approaches to talent management, all supported by stronger people systems.

In a role that covers our Communications and Fundraising teams you'll develop a deep understanding of their priorities, challenges and people. You will partner with senior managers to ensure that plans are achieved through effective people strategies and great management. You'll advise and coach on complex issues, and support managers to create working environments where people can perform to the highest levels.

We're looking for someone with extensive HR generalist experience at both operational and strategic levels, with sound judgement and influencing skills. Customer and solutions focussed, you'll have an excellent appreciation of people management in a UK context but can apply this within a global organisation. Experience of working with a partnering approach combined with a keen interest in our work is essential.
